At the heart of this version is a significant performance improvement that will noticeably speed up your daily work.<\/p>\n<div class=\"my-2\"><\/div>\n<hr class=\" border-gray-100\/30 dark:border-gray-850\/30\" \/>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\">\u2728 <strong>Main feature: Comprehensive performance improvement<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><strong>Migration to .NET Desktop Runtime 8.0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">The core of this update is the complete migration of our application to the modern <strong>.NET Desktop Runtime<\/strong>. This profound technological modernization results in a <strong>significantly improved overall performance<\/strong> of PromanX.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><strong>What does this mean for you?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul dir=\"auto\">\n<li class=\"text-start \">Faster application start times.<\/li>\n<li class=\"text-start \">Smoother navigation and shorter loading times when editing protocols.<\/li>\n<li class=\"text-start \">An overall more stable and more responsive user experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"my-2\"><\/div>\n<hr class=\" border-gray-100\/30 dark:border-gray-850\/30\" \/>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\"><strong>Further improvements &amp; fixes<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p dir=\"auto\">In addition to this central innovation, version 2026.1 naturally includes a wide range of further optimizations and bug fixes that further improve stability and usability.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">This update lays the foundation for future innovations and ensures that Proman continues to be a powerful and reliable tool for your protocol management.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><em>Detailed information on minor adjustments and bugfixes will, as usual, be published in the release notes for individual versions (e.g. 2026.1.1.2).<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Automating installation via MSI packages<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Each version is also provided with an MSI installer.<\/p>\n<p>The following parameters apply during installation:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span lang=\"de-CH\">LICENSE_FILE<\/span> = path including the file name of the license<\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"de-CH\">APPDIR<\/span> = installation directory.<\/li>\n<li>NO_AUTO_UPDATER= if set to &#8220;1&#8221;, no update scheduler job is set up, if &#8220;0&#8221; or not set, the job is set up on the computer<\/li>\n<li>FORCEUPDATESHORTCUTS= forces the creation &amp; update of the shortcuts even in the case of an update, 0 is default. In that case the shortcuts are only set on the first install.
